L.A.V.A. is an intensely physical and sonic journey across a landscape shaped by tensions, frictions, and subterranean currents. Two leading voices of European dance - Emio Greco | Pieter C. Scholten from Amsterdam and Roberto Zappalà from Catania - bring their choreographic universes into dialogue in an international co-production shaped by confrontation and strength.
Not a double bill, nor a fusion, but a true field of tension, in which difference becomes the driving force for new movement.

The dance moves like lava: layered and unpredictable. Bodies collide, pulse, harden, and open up again. The music is an autonomous force: assertive and independent. A sonic field of rhythmic tension and seismic vibrations that challenges, supports, and counterbalances the choreography. L.A.V.A. shows how intensity arises from difference—not from harmony, but from friction; not from distance, but from proximity. The audience finds itself immersed in the heart of this physical and sonic eruption.
