FIC WORKSHOP

What is the FIC Festival?

Scenario Pubblico/Compagnia Zappalà Danza presents the sixth edition of the FIC Festival – curated by the visionary artistic direction of Roberto Zappalà – which in recent years has also taken the name of 'Catania Contemporanea'.

From April 29 to May 11, 2025, Catania will become the stage for a unique cultural event, a festival primarily dedicated to contemporary dance while embracing influences from other disciplines such as music, theater, cinema, and visual arts.

The FIC Workshop will take place within the festival from April 29 to May 9.

Workshop

Ten days of lessons entirely dedicated to the study of contemporary repertoire, divided into two different modules, each concluding with a sharing session of the work developed during the classes. The classes have limited enrollment and allow a maximum of 30 dancers. The deadline for submitting the required materials is March 11, 2025. If the maximum number of participants is reached before the deadline, applications will be closed early.

All workshop participants will receive a 20% discount on all performances scheduled during the FIC FESTIVAL 2025.
